Zotero is a bibliographic tool to help you export, collect, organize, cite, and create bibliographies from your research sources.

You can:

  • Save and store articles, books, and websites into folders for different courses and research projects.
  • Attach pdfs, documents, and screenshots to sources and annotate them with your own notes.
  • Generate in-text citations and bibliographies in whatever style you need.

The two aspects of Zotero consist of a browser extension and the desktop application. The application has already been downloaded to all the computers in the Mahoney Library, the Academic Success Center and the Henderson Hall labs. Students only need to register for an account to make use of this program.

Students can also download these versions to their own computers (provided they have administrator rights) by following the procedures found in the step-by-step instructions for accessing and installing Zotero.
