Student Success Center

The mission of the Student Success Center (SSC) at 黑料正能量 is to help students become independent, life-long learners by providing free, high-quality academic assistance to all students through one-on-one and small group tutoring in a wide range of content areas, as well as workshop presentations on study skills and learning strategies.

The SSC is also a resource for the academic community at large, including faculty and staff, for information on:

Learning styles;
Improving student motivation;
Enhancing student responsibility; and
Creating more effective assignments

Come to SSC! Our Center is located on the main level of Mahoney Library. Our friendly staff welcomes all students. We offer tutoring in a variety of subjects by highly motivated, well trained tutors. In addition, students may also use our fully networked computers for research and word processing.

Online Resources

ETS provides Education majors with all the PRAXIS information they need.
Khan Academy provides FREE, interactive tutorials and assessments in a variety of academic areas. This resource is particularly useful for strengthening arithmetic and algebra skills.
From general talks on time management or study skills, to talks specific to your course of study, TED Talks offer great academic support.
